We didn't have to be to the hospital until 12:30 the day of my c-section, so Riley & I just hung out at home! (starving to death cause I couldn't eat or drink anything)

There we go!!! I couldn't have asked for better nurses (unless of course my sis-in-law still worked in L&D) & of course I had the best doc ever! Riley's older brother Jeff is one of my doctors and was so great to do the c-section on his day off, made it that much more special for us & our boys!

We live in an older home so we have a lot of big Mature trees in our yards & we've hated not being able to see out our front windows. So Riley decided one day to get rid of our big pine tree. With help from our neighbors and our parents it actually went really fast.The view from across the street!!!Riley getting started, view from our garage!

One of the members in our ward came to help, so Riley cut a notch out of the bottom & they tied a chain around it, hooked it up to a truck and it all Falls down! Luckily it wasn't too far in the road, we thought for sure it would cover the whole road.Our parents were great to come help pick up the mess & haul it away!Our moms!!!Riley, Chris, Rich, Dad & MomI was supposed to be on Bed rest, but couldn't stay away from the action, so I got a chair & barked out orders! (not really) but I had to take a picture to prove that I was there too! & Yes I was ready to pop!!! (2 weeks before the babies came!)You can actually see our house now & we can see down the street better!!!
Riley cut this tree out last year, but left the stump. Here he is pulling out the roots so so we can pour concrete & extend our driveway!

One Boat Trip

Because of me being way prego with Twins we weren't able to go boating this year! We did some fishing in Scofield, but Riley wanted to get out on his wakeboard & airchair. So they took a boys trip down to Utah Lake & got their fix!

The guys talked my cousin Bodie into trying out the Sumo! This thing is so mean! It does nothing but drowns the person it in. We use it just for a good laugh when someone new is in the boat!Bodie swimmin out to the rope, no clue what he is in for!

Hopefully next year we will get a lot more boating in!!!

We finally got a furnace put in our house this year! Our neighbor Shawn was so kind to install it for us. Anyway him and Riley were in the back yard one day and found this little rascal in our window-well. We're not really sure what it is, but I'm glad its gone! I was watching Shawns daughter Sophie why they boys worked but she wanted to go out & see this little thing, I kept my distance! Sophie, Riley & Shawn
They walked it next door to Shawns house and let his dog play with it for awhile! Then BYE-BYE Rodant!!!

4th of July!!!

We spent the 4th of July weekend up at our cabin in Scofield. It was a busy but fun weekend!

Riley got to do a lot of fishing, and did really well!!! This is a pretty big catch, but this picture doesn't do it justice & I can't find the good one!

The little town of Scofield does a Parade & other festivities for the weekend. Our cabin area always has one or more floats in the parade. This year Dad & Riley were asked to drive the old Fire Truck! So Mom and I rode in the back with some kids throwing candy! We couldn't believe how big the parade was this year!

We went out on the boat and did some more fishing after the parade!

We stayed for the fireworks that night & then the next day we rode over to Fairview to spend the night at the Thorpe cabin with Riley's mom and dad!

We had a really fun weekend hanging out at both cabins w/both families!!!!

Camping over Memorial Day!

This year over Memorial weekend we went camping up by Strawberry Reservoir with my family, the Carter Family, & our friend Jake.The guys made this teeter-totar (no idea how to spell that!) for the kids to help keep them entertained. Ally, Joslyn & Dad

Gunner must not have been feeling well from all the junk food he was getting fed so he layed like this for quit awhile. Joslyn sat by him for a good 20 min petting him. This was really the only time she liked the dogs.
This is Joslyn telling us to be quiet because Gunner was sleeping.Mom celebrated his birthday and Riley & I celebrated our Anniversary over the weekend so we made this Chocolate Volcano cake with Marshmallows!!! It was way rich, but so yummy!
Ally & Joslyn wanted to take the dogs for a walk so I put their leashes on them and sent them up this trail. It was more like the dogs taking the girls for a walk. This is what happened on the way down. Gus way ahead of the others leash dragging behind. If you look closely the girls are up higher still trying to walk Gunner.

We love to go for a drive on Sunday afternoons after church. The dogs also enjoy these rides. This specific day we went up Diamond Fork canyon & played fetch for awhile!Our little puppies, Gus & Gunner! We love that they love the water. So fun to watch them play! I love outings like this!

Riley has had so many projects on his list of things to get done before the babies come!!! I am very happy to say that he has pretty much accomplished them all! I wish I had before pictures of this bathroom before he tore out the cabinets & built us knew ones! I love the way it looks! Its so great to be married to a man who can do ANYTHING!!!!

We woke up Easter morning to snow & freezing because it was so cold none of our generators would kick on for her heaters!!! Luckily Riley was able to get them going!!!

After it warmed up a little bit Joslyn talked myself, her Daddy & Uncle Riley into hiding Easter Eggs outside for her! I think we went a little overboard. We had so many eggs for her she filled her bucket up twice!!

Every time she spotted another one she would yell "There's one, and there's another!" She was so excited and so cute!!!! Even though it was a pretty chilly weekend we had a good time!

Our Miracle!!!!

So as you all know from previous post, Riley & I did In Vitro in December last year. It was a very long, very trying & yet very very rewarding time. We started doing test, labs, & Medications in Oct. The first time we were supposed to do the actual procedure was in Nov. But because of a cyst, we had to push it back a few weeks. So a few more weeks of meds, blood draws etc and we were able to do the procedure the 2nd week in Dec. They remove the eggs and fertilize them, and then a few days later we had to go back for the implant.

This is a picture of our lil embryo's they implanted!

We had to wait a few weeks to find out if it worked or not. We went for our pregnancy test the day after Christmas!!! This is a picture that Laura took of us when we went to give them our GREAT news!!!!

This is a picture of us telling my Grandma & Grandpa. We had kept it a secret from them that we were even doing the In Vitro. So we had wrapped up a pacifier and gave it to Grandma as a "belated Christmas present." She didn't get it, she thought it was a gag gift for her to stick in grandpa's mouth.

Here is the hug of me telling her that it wasn't a gag, that I was pregnant! I wish Grandpa understood what we were telling them. I am just grateful he was there!

Santa came!!!!! This Christmas was a really good one for us, it was a long day (because we were anticipating the results of our pregnancy test the following day.) But we are so blessed to be able to spend our Christmas Holidays with both of our families.

As said in a previous post we finished our Pool table for Christmas this year, so Santa was so kind as to bring us the things we needed like pool ques, balls etc. We got some other fun things as well.

Wrangler Butts Drive me Nuts!!!! I couldn't help but post this cute picture of my hubby's backside in his new Wrangler jeans I gave him to go with his new Cowboy boots!

After we saw what Santa had brought us, we headed down to my mom and dads to open presents with them. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but we didn't. My Beautiful Mother!

Our big News!!!

I know I still have some things to post about from last year, but I thought I better explain the countdown on the twins! Riley and I have been trying to conceive or adopt a baby for 4 1/2 years now. We had a couple adoption opportunity's that never worked out. So after 2 1/2 years of heartache with that, we decided to try In Vitro fertilization. We did the actual procedure in December. We found out on Dec 26th, that it worked and I was pregnant! We had our first ultrasound on Jan 8th and found out we are having TWINS!!!! We got to see their little heart beats! We are so excited to share this news with all of you! Thank you so much to our dear friends and family for all of your support over the years! I don't know how we could have gotten through all the ups and downs without you! Now on to our next adventure!!! :0)

Deer Hunt 09

We went to our cabin in Scofield for the Deer Hunt with Mom and Dad! (yes this too was back in Sept) We had a lot of fun! We spent one whole day on a very long 4-wheeler ride! Mom and meMe, Dad & Riley taking a break!Dad & Riley watching a couple nice 4 points run up the mountain.The next day Riley and Dad wanted to go fishing, but we didn't take the boat up, so they decided to take the dock out! (I know these 2 are crazy!)It's a good thing mom and I love them! They had a hard time getting back in, so we had to pull them! We had a lot of fun though! Some good laughs!

Maple Mountain Hike

I promise one day I will be a lot better about Blogging again. Anyway so our big accomplishment of the summer! Riley and I hiked Maple Mountain with his family on Aug 1st. It was a very long, fun, painful, fulfilling day!!! So many emotions! We took 3 of dad's mules with us, for Riley's mom (Chris) and the kids! But of course Riley got to ride the whole time too, since Bonsai isn't the best behaved. But she did so good, and so did Bo and Buck. Me trailing behind because my blisters were killing me. But the hike was so gorgeous!!!!Stopping for another rest!We stopped at the lake for lunch. This is the camping spot that Chris spent many nights with her father at. She even had a letter that Grandpa had written the Fall before he passed away at the top in the mailbox about the last time they were up there. It felt so good to get up to this spot. It was so pretty! You could look out over all of Springville & Mapleton. This part of the trail was a little narrow for my comfort so my anxiety started. We stopped just short of the top and I decided to start heading back down. I wanted to get ahead start because I felt bad I slowed everyone down on our way up because of my blisters. So Nick and I got a head start.Riley & Chris rode the mules all the way up! Chris wrote something in the book, but when I asked what she wrote she said, "You'll just have to come back up to see!" Although it will probably be years, we WILL go back up there to see what she wrote. After seeing how much it meant to her to have all of us up there, I would do it again, even with major blisters on my feet. Only next time, I'm going all the way! Shauna & Bruno Frampton (some friends of Greg & Laura's) hiked up to the top as well.Heading back down!!!The boys were all troopers. 24th of July...Camping trip!

Like always we went camping over the 24th of July! Our good friend Dylan drew an Elk tag this year so we went camping up Hobble Creek so they could go scouting for the big one. Unfortunately the guys all had to work on Friday, but mom and I didn't, so we made them take us up Thursday night. So all day Friday we had "Girl time!"

After doing our "girly things" we thought we better make use of ourselves before the boys got there, so we went and gathered firewood!

It was a really warm day, so Joslyn wanted to go swimming in the Creek! I took her down to put our feet in and show her how cold it was!

The next morning the boys got up really early and went for a Mule ride to try and find where the Elk were hanging out! Mom, Joslyn and I slept in!

The boys got back before breakfast because Jake had to go meet his girlfriend! Joslyn kept begging to go for a 4-wheeler ride. She had Uncle Riley wrapped around her lil finger! He kept taking her around and around, and every time they came back it was.... "Just one more time....PLEASE!" and he gave in every time!!! He loves that lil girl, and she definitely has the whole family wrapped tight around her lil finger.

Time for target practice! I wanted to shoot, so I set up the target and started shooting & soon everyone joined me!

After lunch we decided to hike up to one of the guys tree stands to set up the tree camera!

Like I always say...BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!! So my family went to Lake Powell back in July for 9 days! You can see the pictures in the slide show below! We had a blast, as always! We did a ton of fishing, and were pretty successful! We had perfect weather the entire time, until the last night! We got one quick rain/wind/hail storm. It pretty much tore camp right down! Made for a quick clean up though! We did tons of swimming (of course), cliff jumping, went up to the Indian ruins, wakeboarding, knee boarding, air-chairing, relaxing...etc!!! We even talked the guys into letting us paint their toe nails! There's picture of that too! We had a Great time, and can't wait to go again next year! Hope you all enjoy the slide show!!

Our niece Gracie turned 8 on June 29th. Her and her friends are all into the "Hippie Peace-sign" so that's the kind of cake she asked for. I got to make 2 of them for her this year, one for her friend party and one for the family party.

Every year my dad's extended family gets together up the canyon for a BBQ. There's lots of yummy food, games for the kids, fishing & water fights!!!For some reason the water fight starts off with a few little kids with squirt guns and turns into a major fight between the adults! Mom and Dad usually are right in the middle of it.

Riley, Dad & Mom! I luckily stayed dry for the most part....until the end dad got me, but not as bad as these 3 were!!!!I spent some time on the swings watching the kids chase candy that was being shot out of a little cannon!!!!Josh was the only one interested in fishing.....look at the monster he caught!

It was a fun afternoon.

A couple weeks ago Mom and I headed to Cedar City to play Volleyball in the Utah Summer Games! This is our first time ever going and we had a lot of fun. Every year we go to our cabin in Scofield for the Annual Fishing Derby! 2 years ago my Mom won the Women's, last year I won, this year Mom won again!!!!

For any of you that know Riley know that since he joined our family he hasn't been that lucky when it comes to fishing! Well I think his luck has changed. He caught the first fish that weekend, and the most!

After the fishing is over the community gets together for a potluck dinner and a bake sale. This year we were big suckers for the bake sale. Mom and I both bought the cute snack jars full of Carmel popcorn, dad bought the cookies and strawberries and Riley bought the German Chocolate cake! Needless to say we were all feeling fat after the weekend was over!

We had a really good time at the cabin though. We played cards, watched movies and just enjoyed each others company! Oh yeah and Mom and I kicked the boys butts at hand & foot (card game)

A couple weeks ago I got to make some cakes for some friends! The first one is a Snow White Cake for my Friend Jen's little girls 4th Birthday!

The 2nd one being a Golf Cake for my friend Aimee's father! Both of these cakes were so fun to make. Specially the Golf cake because Mom and I have never done one like this and when we first got started we didn't think it was going to turn out so great, but neither one of us dared say anything to the other. We are very happy and proud with the way it turned out!

I am looking forward to getting to make more this summer!

Memorial Weekend!!!!

Over the Memorial weekend we got to go on our first real camping trip of the year! Our dear friends Dylan & Carly and their kids Ally, Brennan & Grady went with us! We headed up Thursday night and didn't come home until Monday afternoon! It was a really fun, well needed relaxing weekend. Even though we did get dumped on by rain we still had a fun time! We went 4-wheeling, read books, watched movies (when it was raining), played cards, roasted marshmellows and starburst... etc! I know this is a picture load, keep in mind this is only like 1/2 the pictures I took!

Dylan brought his trailer up Friday morning! This is right after the guys just got done catching a mouse and throwing it across the creek! That's right ladies....a mouse! As you can tell I quickly got up on the trailer.....I hate those little rodents! We actually had a little family of them right by camp so we saw them often, & I did not like it at all!!!!

Like I've been saying a lot on this blog lately...."Better Late then never!" We've had a pretty busy month! I want to Start with Mother's Day!

That Saturday night we went over to my mom and dad's for a BBQ.

These guys can never be serious around each other! Some of you may know that my Grandpa has Alzheimer's. It's been really hard to watch him change over the years with this disease. He is now like a little child, I don't know how my Grandma does it! She is an amazing women and I love and appreciate her more then she will ever know! Those of you who know Grandpa know that he has always been a big tease! Well he still is and he is a lot easier to tease back know and these boys take full advantage of that! Thus be the reason why Grandpa looks so silly in this picture, they thought it was fun to keep pulling his hat down over his ears!

We all went in and gave mom the WII fit! So after dinner we all went up and played for awhile. We had a blast laughing at each other doing the hula-hoop and other things!

Major Blog Update.....

I know I've been horrible about blogging lately, we've just been really busy and I haven't really turned on the computer! But I've got a lot of things to blog about.....

JOSH

My dear sweet ACCIDENT-PRONE Brother broke his ankle a few weeks ago wrestling with some friends. He just stepped on it wrong and snapped it! So he ended up having to have surgery.

Sommer & Josh right after he got out of recovery! He was eating and drinking and doing everything he could to get out of that hospital!

Here's the picture from his surgery! Yep he's full of Metal now!!!!!

And then......

He ended up getting a really bad infection and they admitted him to the hospital for 6 days! This picture doesn't do the swelling or bruising justice, but he wouldn't move it so I could get a better picture, (this is his good side!)Joslyn & her daddy on Easter! (She didn't like the hospital to much!)

He is home now, still on an antibiotic, but doing better! He's catching up on his loss of sleep!

My Best Friend Callie is getting married on May 8th, so we threw her a bridal shower!

REMODEL

Riley has been busy working around the house! A couple weeks ago when the weather was good we did a major makeover in the front yard, I will post pictures of the "new look" when this winter weather disappears! Meanwhile we have done some work inside the house! I wish I would have taken before pictures but I didn't! So just know that our bathroom had yellow floors! So we decided to lay tile! this is the pre-layout!

NEW CAR

Mom is getting a new car this week so Riley and I decided to buy her Yukon! So we are sadly selling our Jeep Wrangler and upgrading to a family vehicle, so if/when we get to adopt a baby we have a good vehicle!Not the best picture because it's wet & dark!

Cow Dung Run...Riley makes the DNF list along with Shawn!

A couple weekends ago we headed down to Delta so Riley could race in his first Desert Cross Race! The Cow Dung Run! We went down Friday night to get a place on Pit Row! Saturday we woke up early so Riley could get ready to race! The big bike race was scheduled to start at 12:30! It was a long wait! Riley's buddy Shawn who we went and watched a couple weeks ago was also racing. He is in the Expert class so his group started! Unfortunately another bike ran into him and he wrecked pretty good at the start. He managed to get back up and race but when he came in from the first lap he couldn't remember anything and was taken to the Hospital with a concussion! Riley had a pretty good start! They had to cross the Severe River a few times & on one of the crossings another bike came up behind Riley knocking them both into the water! Riley's bike got water logged and he couldn't get it started again. Dylan did really well for his first time. I was glad he knew that Riley was okay when he came into Pit Row so I wouldn't have to worry about him! All & all it was a really long day! Riley had to wait until the race was over for someone to go pick him and the other 25 bikes that were broke down up. He didn't get back to the trailer until 5:30. Dylan ended up coming in like 24th, and Riley & Shawn both made the "DNF" list..."Did Not Finish!" It was a good expierence for Riley & Dylan and luckily Shawn is doing good, no major damage! We're looking forward to the next one!

Rhino Rally

Last weekend Riley & I went down to St. George to watch a friend of ours (Shawn) race in the Rhino Rally! Friday night we got down there checked into our condo & went to meet Shawn & his friends for dinner. Then Saturday was the race, so we spent most of the day there! It was cool to see! Here's Shawn in his Van that he uses to transport his bike.
This isn't the best picture, but way off in the back is PIT ROW. It's a very long line of trailers that the bikes ride up in the middle of the race to refuel and do what ever else is needed to their bikes!

This is Shawn as he finishes in 4th out of 300 riders! It was really fun for Riley & I to go watch this. Riley really wants to start racing! (I know, I know) But like he says in 2 years he'll be able to ride with the 30 & older class, not with these young bucks like Shawn!!!! Riley's also hoping our kids will want to do this when they get old enough, like 4 or 5!!!!!

After the race on Saturday we went back to the Condo and went Swimming. It was so nice there! Then we went & met Shawn & his family at the reward ceremony & then out to dinner! Sunday Riley got up and went for a ride, I slept in! Then we headed home! It was a fun quick getaway! Thanks Shawn for letting us come watch! Thanks Mom & Dad for letting us stay in the condo!!!!

Babysitting Gracie & the RV show!

This past weekend we were lucky enough to babysit our niece Gracie. Saturday we took her to the RV show at the Expo Center. She had a blast and was in and out of every trailer. She took a catalog out of each one, so she can give it to her daddy when he gets home from his trip! Jane & Gracie have been trying to talk Jeff into buying a trailer for awhile now.

I should have taken more pictures, but I didn't. This is the only one I got of Gracie.

And this would be Riley's new LOVE!!!! As many of you know we have our Redneck Toy Hauler. This is a bigger/better version of ours. It's the first one of it's kind, and Riley spent the majority of the time staring at it, and taking pictures of it. It was really nice, but a little out of our price-range. One day Riley, when you make us our millions you can have your dream trailer!!!

We bought this old pool table a couple years ago and it has just been sitting in storage. We finally got the basement cleaned out to wear Riley could work on it, and this is what we have been up to the last little while!

I wish I would have taken more pictures but this is Riley laminating the table. I help when I can, but i don't do much! I did tape all that paper up so he could spray the glue for the laminate.

We are really excited to have this done and be able to play on it!

As you can tell our basement is unfinished. Do you like the green carpet? That's what we took out of the upstairs in the house, when we remodeled it! I'll take more pictures as the project gets closer to finish!!!!

Valentines Day!!!!!

We didn't take any pictures on Valentines Day! But we had an Amazing day! We started the day off early with a couples massage! After the massage we went to Cabela's (my favorite store). Then we went and got lunch at Goodwood BBQ. We then headed to the mall and did a little shopping! Riley got 2 new Utah Ute hats, and I got some new socks (the ones I had on were killing my feet), some new really soft pajamas, and a new shirt! After walking the mall we decided to rest our feet and go to a movie! We went and saw Taken...we both really liked it. It wasn't what I was expecting so a little tragic, but really good! We then came home where Riley hooked up our little T.V. from our trailer outside on the BBQ and we watched part of a movie while relaxing in the hot-tub! We finished that movie in the house, and then retired to bed! It was a really fun and relaxing day! Thanks Riley for everything! I love you lots!!!!

After almost a year of washing the dishes by hand, I am soooooo happy to say we got a dishwasher!!!! We got this from the parents of one of my dear friends from work....Carly! They even brought it up from St. George for us! Thanks Car, and thank your parents again for us!I am also so grateful for a husband that can fix & install anything and everything! He had it in and running in like 45 minutes!!! We had to tear out a cupboard to put it in, but it was worth it!

You may have noticed the sink full of dishes in the first picture! That was an everyday occurrence. Not anymore, we actually left those dishes there cause we knew we were getting the dishwasher so we loaded it right up and started it that night!

So far so good, Riley has been putting his dishes in the dishwasher everyday! He even has started it and unloaded it twice already! Hopefully he keeps it up! :0)

Saturday Riley went snowmobiling down to our cabin in Fairview. He had a lot of fun and it was nice for him to get out with his dad and brothers!! Saturday Jan 24th was Riley's brother; Kelly's Birthday! Tuesday Jan 27th was their other brother; Greg's Birthday! We partied all weekend with them!

Friday night we went bowling with Kelly, Melanie, Porter & Ryann. Rich & Chris (Riley's mom & dad), our nephew Brooks and Grandma C.Here's Melanie, sooooooo excited!!!!Birthday Boy Kelly!!!!Papa Rich was too scared to bowl because he was afraid of getting beat by a girl! Last weekend Mom and I went to Mesquite for my cousins baby shower and some QUALITY GIRL TIME!!!! We headed down Saturday morning, but didn't make it to our hotel until like 7:00! We hung out in St. George shopping for a few hours! Then we headed to Mesquite and got checked into our room and headed to a movie! (Australia)Ashley's baby shower was on Sunday. They played games, lots of games, and then she opened her mountain of gifts! After the shower we went to another movie! Marly and Me! It was really cute, a little sad but still really cute.

After the movie we went and ate the Casino. Then headed back to our hotel room where we found a movie on T.V. and just hung out talking and vegging!

Every year for Christmas Eve we hang out at Mom and Dad's and eat lots of food, play lots of games and open our new PJ's!

Friday December 19th was Riley's company Christmas Party! This year it was held at "The Inn on the Creek" in Midway. It was very nice, the food was awesome and the party was fun.

Dylan & Riley! They looked everywhere to find "Christmas Sweaters" but didn't have any luck. So instead they both wore these lovely Christmas ties. Dylan's even played music. This would be their boss Mark, and his wife Carrie. No one knew he was going to dress like this. It was awesome. Notice Carrie's shirt says "I Love Nick!" Every year after dinner we play the white elephant gift game. Here Carly is with her Moon Shoes that she so badly wanted!!!! Unfortunately Their hotel room was above ours so we got to listen to her jump around on these!This is Jarius and the Tupperware looking thing he is holding is the home for his new pet mouse. Zack went to the pet shop for his white elephant gift and brought this mouse. I ended up with it at one point, Thanks to Jarius, and luckily Riley and I were the last ones to trade at the end, so I very excitedly gave the lil' mouse back to him. I seriously HATE mice.As I mentioned above most of us spent the night up there! Our rooms were amazing. They were huge, with a king size bed, a fireplace, jetted tub, and complimentary room service for breakfast. It was fun and I'm glad we decided to stay. The next morning as we were leaving I saw this cute Santa & Sleigh out front so I had to jump on the Kodak moment!

It was a very fun night away!

Okay so let me explain...A couple of months ago, Riley and his friends at work got this wild idea that it would be fun to go race cars. So they all got on KSL and bought these cheap cars, then took them back to the shop where they put bit exhaust pipes on them, roll cages in them and whatever else they wanted to do with them! Then Saturday December 6th we went down to the desert for them to race.This is Riley & Jake's car!
This is a picture of our "convoy" on the way down there. There were 4 cars racing, all being towed on trailers and a whole bunch of spectators.

Riley & Jake didn't make it very far in the race. They had some car problems. The other 3 cars raced, I didn't get pictures cause I had my video camera. But it was pretty funny to watch.
Zach & Dylan got a big old gash in the side of their tire! Luckily Dylan was prepared with a bunch of spares!
2nd attempt for Riley & Jake didn't go so well either! The rust on the bumper was dumped out of their gas filter! I think we found the problam!
Surprisingly these boys took very good precautions, preparing for the worse! A roll over! They all had roll cages, they all wore their helmets, and their boss Marc was prepared with a fire extinguisher. But luckily no one got hurt! Oh wait...Riley did get a pretty good bump on his head. But it was when he was loading the car back onto the trailer! I didn't think it was very funny when it happened, but we sure get a kick out of it now!

All & all it was a fun day, even though Riley's car didn't work. They are going to do some more work on it so we can go out another day!

For Thanksgiving this year we ate with my family! Before dinner was ready we played up in the game room. The boys beat us girls in Foosball, then Riley and I beat Josh & Sommer in pool, and Sommer beat all of us in Darts! We had lots of fun!!!

As many of you know Riley's family are HUGE Ute fans!! So we all got together at Greg & Laura's to watch the Utah vs. BYU game! And can I just say what a game!!!!This is our cute niece Ryann all dressed up in her Ute Cheerleading outfit.

Greg & Laura have had a feud going over the last few years with their neighbors who are Cougar fans. So when I got to their house I found BYU signs posted everywhere out front and some Blue & White Balloons!!! After the game was over we all took a balloon and a pin and headed over to their house where we sung the Utah Fight Song and popped the balloons at the end!!!BCS Hear we come!!!!

(p.s. we've heard every excuse in the book as to why BYU lost, but just face it Cougar fans, the Utes just brought their game)

Halloween 2008!!!

This year for Halloween everyone at work acted like they were going to dress up!!! Well it ended up being just the 3 of us down in billing! Everyone else flaked out on us (thanks a lot ladies!) So here is some pictures of the 3 Amigos!!! I was Princess Buttercup "The Princess Bride!" Aimee is Sally from "The Nightmare before Christmas!" And Carly is a Medieval Princess!!!

Riley didn't dress-up this year! So I brought home another one of Aimee's costumes, hoping I could talk him into wearing it with a wig! But he wouldn't so I ended up changing into it for the night! We went over to mom and dads for a minute to see the girls! Kaylee was a Bride and Joslyn was Tinkerbell!!!

Except for going to mom and dads Riley and I stayed home to hand out candy! Well little did we know (probably because we don't have kids!) It was our wards Trunk or Treat! So we only had 2 trick or treaters, plus Dylan and Carly and their 3 kids and Jeffery & Lacey brought Wyatt over! So now we have lots of extra candy for Riley to eat!!!!

Halloween Traditions!!!!

Every year before Halloween we all get together at Riley's mom and dad's and let the kids decorate cookies!!!! The kids love this tradition and we all love getting together to visit. This pictures kind of dark, but this is me smearing icing all over my nephew Payton! I owe the kid lots of torture for posting a really ugly picture of me on facebook. So this was just one way of getting back at him! Revenge is not over yet "watch your back Payt!"Payton, Jantsen and I continued our little food fight outside so we didn't get icing all over Grandma's house. It was fun and we all ended up with icing everywhere. Including our hair. And surprisingly we only ended up with one little injury, Me! I managed to cut the bottom of my foot open! But it's healing and I'm doing good! (as Riley says, it's my own fault for playing outside without shoes on.) I know I'm suppose to be an Adult to these boys, but I just can't help it, I will always be a kid at heart, and they bring that out in me! :0)

Last weekend my sis-in-law had a Fall Gift Boutique at her house! Mom and I were very busy getting stuff ready for it. We had lots of fun things!

We had "Sneekee" Brand clothing and hats.

Tile with Vinyl Sayings, towel bibs, receiving blankets and bibs, stitchery's, cards etc.

Dad made these cute Solar Light lanterns that look really cute sitting on peoples porches & Josh made a really neat quilt rack (that didn't sell.) We actually have lots of things left over, so if anyone is interested in anything, let me know! The boutique was fun and didn't pretty good, just not as good as the last couple years! I'm sure the economy played a big part in that! All and all it was fun though.

Okay so since I have known Riley he has had 2 hair colors! His natural which is a brown and blonde, many shades of blonde. Anyway so this last time he had his hair colored the girl totally messed up on it. So he hasn't been happy with it. So jokingly one day he said he was going to dye it black. Well why we were out shopping last weekend he bought some hair dye, and when we got home this is what we did!

Last weekend Riley and I got to babysit my niece Joslyn. She is soooo much fun. Thursday night we had her while my parents were at a wedding. We played cards, Snakes & Ladders and then played with my old wooden dolls (she loved them). We watched movies and she wanted to watch the movie when "Nana was a Princess" That's what says about my wedding pictures. So Riley and I sat down and watched our wedding video with her for the first time since our First Anniversary. Then I pumped her full of sugar and my mom came and got her!

Then Saturday after Riley and I got home from "Christmas shopping" that's right I said Christmas shopping. We are probably 2/3 of the way done! Anyway we got to babysit her again while Josh went to the BYU game. So this time I put her to work. Okay so I was vacuuming and she wanted to help, she was such a good helper. She wanted to watch our wedding video but I talked her out of it. She was so fun, I love this little girl so much I wish we could keep her!!!! (p.s. when Josh came and got her she made him watch our Wedding video at Mom and Dad's, and then made Mom and Dad watch it with her on Sunday) She's so cute and so smart!

I took last Friday off to help my Mom make 8 cakes! One of my really good friends (Aimee) asked us to make these cakes for her Parents Mission Reunion. They served as Mission Presidents in Switzerland!

A Cow Bell!! I have to admit when we got the pictures from them of some ideas of what to put on the cakes, I had to ask what the cow bell was. But apparently its a really big thing in Switzerland and Mom did an Awesome job on these!

After we took them to the church I headed home to make one more for my nephew Porter's Birthday party on Saturday! He wanted a Soccer ball! (I added my own touch with the Red, White and the U!) GO UTES!! (Riley's family are all really big Ute fans) Mom also made another one Friday night or Saturday morning for my cousins little boy. She made Lightening McQueen (from the movie Cars)!

All and All it was a really busy (kind of stressful) but really fun day! I just hope the people at the reunion like them!

Weekend @ the Cabin!

Conference weekend... Last Saturday Riley flew home from New York, and we headed up to the cabin. When we got there the rest of his family was just sitting down for dinner. After dinner we had a "surprise" birthday party for Porter. That's what he wanted, so when he was in the other room we shut off all the lights and yelled "SURPRISE" when he came out.

After the little kids were all asleep we got a "mad" game of Rummy going. Playing this game with Riley's family is pretty entertaining. Next time I'm going to put my video camera up somewhere so we can catch all the cheaters, and everyone yelling at everyone. It's lots fun!

Sunday after the breakfast, and the morning session of Conference we went out to get some wood for the cabin and for me and Riley to bring home for our fireplace. It was soooo cold and a blizzard. Kelly & Riley! Papa Rich in the background.

It was a short, but fun weekend. The food was sooooo yummy (as always). And a lot of work was accomplished before winter hits! (oh yeah, and we got to experience the first snow-storm. I love this time of year)

A couple weeks ago when the boys were hunting, Mom and I took Joslyn to get her pictures done for her 3rd birthday. We got her this adorable Cinderella Dress and since she is our Little Princess we thought it would be fun to have her pictures taken in it! She was so cute getting ready...She let me curl her hair and I even let her wear my tiara from my wedding. When we got to Kiddie Kandids Joslyn turned really shy and kept saying "I want to go home." So we did everything we could to get her to be okay with it.

I love this picture of Mom and Joslyn. This one was suppose to just be fun, to let her see herself on the computer screen. But we all really liked the way it turned out so it was one of our top picks! And Now.... THE PRINCESS!!!!After we got some really cute ones of Joslyn we took some of the 3 of us!
After getting our pictures done, we went and did some shopping and bought Joslyn a surprise for being so good! I love Girl Time!!!

Happy Birthday to my Bestest Friend!!!! We've been through almost everything imaginable together. We cry together, we laugh together...I can't imagine life without her. I'm so Grateful to have her as a friend and most of all now to have her as a Cousin! That's right...we used to always joke when growing up that we would one day be related, and well, by me Marrying Riley our Wish came true! Happy Birthday Callie, I love you!
